ABOUT VILLA VANDENBUSSCHE
Villa Vandenbussche, as quoted by The New York Times, is a modernist masterpiece designed by architectural firm Konstrukto in 1969 and recently renovated by WE-S architects.
Konstrukto was a two-man company founded in 1953 by architects Georges Vandenbussche and Marc Verkest, becoming one of the first design firms in Flanders to establish their own signature by constructing elegant, white-painted bungalow-style villas.
In 2021, the villa was acquired and meticulously restored and enhanced with immense respect for Georges Vandenbussche's original design, adhering to contemporary building standards. The transition from old to new is nearly imperceptible, with only a few details setting them apart.
Today, the icon yet again serves as the private residence but is, on rare occasions, made available for limited, exclusive, professional events.
